Director of Supplier Diversity

As the Director of Supplier Diversity at Turner & Townsend, Wayne Lambert leads efforts to enhance the firm’s Supplier Diversity program and create contract and capacity building opportunities for diverse businesses in the supply chain, including and not limited to minority, women, disadvantaged, and small businesses. Wayne works with public and private sector clients and provides support to meet utilization targets, amongst other internal and external diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. 

Previously, Wayne worked in the public-sector, where he had over 15 years of experience in supplier and workforce diversity, spending time in New York City’s (NYC) Mayor’s Office of M/WBE as Deputy Director of Programs, as Chief Diversity and Industry Relations Officer with the NYC Department of Design & Construction, led M/WBE efforts and supported health equity initiatives at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and served at NYC’s Department of Small Business Services where he connected over 10,000 small businesses to public and private sector opportunities. 

Wayne also serves as a Board Member on New York City’s Procurement Policy Board (PPB), Director of DE&I on the Board for the Society for Marketing Professionals (SMPS) and is a member of One Hundred Black Men of New York
