Directions by Subway
The CUNY Graduate Center is two blocks east of Penn Station, one block east of Herald Square, and two blocks west of the 33rd Street and Park Avenue subway station, served by the 6 train.
The closest subway station, located at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue, is served by the B, D, F, N, R, and Q trains.
Penn Station is served at Seventh Avenue by the 1, 2, and 3 IRT lines, as well as the A, C, and E lines at the Eighth Avenue station one block west.
Parking is limited. Use of public transportation and rideshare are highly encouraged.

Car-Free Earth Day
The return of Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day takes place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in all five boroughs. This citywide car-free celebration widely popular with New Yorkers promotes environmentalism and educates the public on environmental causes. Streets at signature locations in every borough will be transformed into car-free spaces fully activated with environmental, cultural, and recreational programming.
