Nella Gonçalves brings over 30 years of experience in social services, with a deep commitment to supporting low-income individuals and families. She previously served as Deputy Director at Beyond Emancipation and held the role of Division Director of the Housing and Homeless Division at Catholic Charities CYO in San Francisco. For more than 25 years, Nella has been a dedicated advocate on Treasure Island, leading services and championing affordable housing initiatives. Her work has focused on fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive mixed-income community where all residents feel a true sense of belonging. Nella holds a degree in Human Development from the University of California, Davis, and earned her Certification as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor through the UC Berkeley Extension Program.
