Naomi Doerner is a transportation equity strategist, urban planner, and nationally recognized leader advancing racial and social equity in transportation. Trained as a planner, she brings over 18 years of experience working across public, private, and nonprofit sectors to center equity in mobility policy, planning, and community engagement. Naomi served as the first-ever Transportation Equity Program Manager at the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), where she led the development of the City’s landmark Transportation Equity Program. She is also the co-founder of the Untokening, a collective of mobility justice leaders. She is now the Principal with Equivolve and the practice founder and lead for Mobility Unbound, a strategy and design consulting practice dedicated to supporting agencies, foundations, and community-based organizations to create systems changes for just and equitable transportation and infrastructure.
