King County, WA
ERSJ Community Engagement & Policy Advisor
Julia Jannon-Shields (she/her) is a community planner working towards an equitable, sustainable future by centering minoritized experiences in governance, planning, and development processes to rebuild from generations of mistrust and harm. She amplifies this perspective in her role as a Community Engagement & Policy Advisor at King County, WA’s Office of Equity, Racial & Social Justice; a Project Partner at BlackSpace Urbanist Collective; the Equity Advisory Committee for the Puget Sound Regional Council; and on the Board for Homestead Community Land Trust.
