
Aryeh Cohen is a Los Angeles-based Urban Planner at AECOM, where he works with public agencies to advance equity, environmental justice, climate resilience, multimodal transportation options, fair housing policy, and people-centered urban design. Prior to joining AECOM he worked on bikeway planning at LADOT, where he also conducted his graduate research on anti-displacement strategies to supplement transformative infrastructure projects in historically disinvested communities. With a background in the arts, Aryeh uses illustration and graphic design to translate technical concepts into accessible and engaging materials for public participation in the planning process. Aryeh received his master’s degree in urban and regional planning from UCLA, and his bachelor’s from UC Santa Cruz.
