With over ten years of experience in facilitation, community engagement, and change management, Annya Pintak is a dynamic leader dedicated to advancing equity and fostering meaningful transformation. She played a pivotal role in the creation of the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) Transportation Equity Workgroup (TEW) and the Transportation Equity Framework (TEF), where she facilitated more than 200 hours of dialogue with staff and external community members representing communities of color and vulnerable communities. This collaborative effort resulted in the co-development of values, strategies, and tactics that continue to shape the department’s work.
As SDOT’s Transportation Equity Manager, Annya leads the implementation of the framework across the department and fosters an ongoing partnership with the TEW. Prior to her work in transportation, she served in the public health and social service sectors, working with grassroots and statewide nonprofits to advocate for underserved communities.
Originally from Indonesia and a proud immigrant, Annya’s equity practice is deeply rooted in restorative facilitation and healing. She is passionate about guiding individuals through their personal and professional equity journeys, helping them grow and lead with empathy and understanding.
