Jessica is the Deputy Director of Living Streets & Public Spaces at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice (MOCEJ). Her work at MOCEJ is focused on protecting New Yorkers from extreme heat and poor air quality, transitioning to electric vehicles and alternative modes of transit, and the proliferation of green infrastructure. Jessica has more than 10 years of nonprofit and government experience including advocating for equitable and sustainable public transit systems, affordable housing, and community development.
She earned her Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University and her Bachelor’s in Urban Studies with a Minor in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley.
