Emily May, President and Co-Founder
Emily May is an international leader in the movement to end harassment — in all its forms. At the age of 24, she co-founded Right To Be (formerly Hollaback) and is currently the President and Lead Executive Officer. She is also the co-author of “I’ve Got Your Back: the indispensable guide to stopping harassment when you see it (2022). Emily has won 11 awards for her work and been featured in over 200 news media outlets including People Magazine, the New York Times, and NPR. Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University, a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics, and is a Prime Movers Fellow and an Ashoka Fellow.
